Linval Livermore - a.k.a. Super Vibes or Super "V", as he is affectionately known by his dedicated listeners, came to Kitchener from Mt. Olivet, St. Ann, Jamaica, over 29 years ago. He later appeared as a guest on a radio show, friends complimented him about his sound over the air waves, needless to say it got to Super V's head. From 1977 to 2001, he hosted several shows in the Tri Cities. In 2000 Super "V" received the Peter Tosh Award at the Canadian Reggae Music Awards for his contribution to the development of reggae music.
	This award-winning disc jockey now entertains the people of Kitchener and surrounding areas every Saturday afternoon from 3 - 6pm on 88.3 CJIQ FM. He never fails to play the listeners' requests and send shout outs as well. Super "V" has made a commitment to the development of reggae music and the promotion of local business and productions.
